Quiet Friday

Should be. The sun is shining and it's getting warmer out. So I might find something to do this afternoon outside.
The wind never got bad last night. The one storm is all that I heard go through. We didn't get any more rain either. That lets things dry out some more.
I am now ready to start sewing all the pieces together of my venus flytraps. I will do that this evening. Hope you have a good day.

Yes, we get rain and sometimes, snow, in the Spring. (My area can get snow in April or even early in May because of the elevation here.)
Eva is crocheting parts of a Venus flytrap and will sew the parts together. It will look cute when she's done and she can sell it at an auction. Lots of people like the things she crochets.

We're doing engine check offs today but that will be the extent of my outside work. Tomorrow I'll be out all day because I'm repping the fire department at a car show.

Sounds like the perfect day, unless you crave for something more exciting. But the fact the sun is up and warm should be enough already, I'm sure you'll find something to do. 
Here the sun is shining too but I don't feel like going out. I'm like stuck at my desk. I might go for a walk in the evening, I did so yesterday and actually enjoyed it.

Windy here, there is a wind advisory out, but it’s warm. That changes tomorrow.

We have strong wind warnings posted for today but nobody is warning about tornados yet, thank goodness.

The sun is out but we have a strong wind blowing. I can hear the storm window in my bedroom rattling. (The second storm window got broken in the bad hail storm we got in October this last year.)
It's 2:10 pm and we're at 71F heading toward 72F (according to one weather app) but I think we may pass that by late this afternoon. I'm guessing we'll end up being around 74 or 75F before it starts getting dark.
Pretty is working on her desktop and has computer parts strewn on her bed and bedroom floor. I told her to yell if she needs any help. She says she shouldn't need anything but the last two times she's worked on it, she's blown a fuse in the laundry room.

@wolfgirl569 One of the memory chips in her computer was bad but otherwise, it's up and seems to be running fine. 
We reached 74F by late this afternoon. By 8 pm we had already dropped to 60F heading for a low of maybe 36F by morning. We shall see...

Our wind didn't get that bad. I remember you mentioning a broken window.
We made it to 55. But now a cold front is coming in.

@vandana7 The roads are angled very slightly and here in the country ditches are dug beside them to help the water drain away. In the cities they have drainage areas
