Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 53 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is good to see the sunshine again. It is Friday! TGIF! It is payday! Work was busy today so that went by quickly. Now I have 3 hours of tutoring. Fine with me. That's $137 extra for today. That alone pays for today's groceries. I don't have any big plans for the evening but that isn't a shocker. I'm fine to just chill with the cat crew. I'm surprised that my neighbor hasn't asked me to watch Whiskey tonight or this weekend. (yet) What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

@lilacskies While NJ isn't often in the path of hurricanes, Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy made landfall right here back in 2012. It devastated the area.

@NJChicaa The entire east coast is expensive to live in unfortunately. The same applies to the west coast, but on top of high cost of living, they have to deal with all kinds of natural disasters.

Hey! I can actually open this discussion! Your early morning discussion opens but nobody can respond on it. myLot has a funny glitch there. Good afternoon. It's 73F in my part of Missouri at 2:56 pm. It's sunny and very windy here. Friday doesn't mean anything to me anymore but I'm glad you're happy about it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
