Just a few minutes ago when the water stopped running out of the faucet. Good thing I finished the laundry yesterday. But I wonder why we don't have water now when there is no announcement about this. I hope this will not last long.

It is worrisome if they didn't announce they were cutting the water for some reason. Did you check to make sure you don't have a broken pipe at your house? I hope the water is back on soon.

It becomes difficult when you have a shortage of water. It's very strange that they didn't announce it. The government should be more responsible. Did you check with neighbors if it was supply issues or what?

@rakski hmm...it happens here too many times but they keep us informed. Also, that must be not their fault because it was an accident and it happened suddenly.

it is a private water company but in previous times, they normally announced it. It has been said that the pipe busted was cased by an accident

@avi256 It was a nightmare. We had to carry buckets of water from a nearby tap in our two-story house for about two days. Then we resorted to buying 20L water tanks, and if we were lucky, the delivery person would carry them to the first floor. It was a terrible experience, and my heart goes out to those around the world who have to travel kilometers for basic water needs.

@rakski No, it isn't, especially since you did not know it was going to happen and you were not prepared with extra water.

No idea. Now that summer is near; you don't have water. Our government is encouraging water harvesting.

Luckily you did the laundry yesterday, so many things can't be done when water is gone such as flushing the toilet, something we do mindlessly.

That's disturbing. In a nearby city they didn't have water for days, well actually I think they did, but they had to boil it. A water treatment plant got knocked off line due to a storm.

Isn't there any means to know the reason. Thank God I have two connections which gives us sufficient water.

That is definitely frustrating! Good thing is you have finished laundry just in time. Sudden water interruptions can be very frustrating and inconvenient, especially when it is without notice. I remember waking up at 4 just to finish my morning routines when we had water issue in the apartment. Also storing water in plastic containers last summer. Perhaps it is a temporary issue such as minor pipe or maintenance issue. Hope you have checked with your neighbors and validated if they are also facing the issue. Water may come back soon so it does not disrupt your day. Meantime, hope you have enough water at home to manage for a day. Hopefully, the issue would not last long!
