Are the "red hats" flattered trump put so much effort into putting on a show for them to look like a tough guy on TV?

trump and Sidekick J D Vance bully Zelenskyy in a scripted drama so trump can walk away from USA support of Ukraine because he didn't say thank you enough. Zelenskyy makes trump and Vance look childish and foolish.

Zelenskyy was the fool. He has the world's 10th strongest superpower against him, and the world's #1 superpower on his side. He stood no chance against Russia without help, and our help is the strongest and most significant help he can expect to get. If we walk away, Ukraine is finished. It also sets the stage for WWIII as the other allies work to defeat Russia without a peace deal. Ukraine's ONLY hope for peace is through the United States. It cannot be achieved any other way. For him to disrespect the very people here to help him... Was clinically stupid.

Trump was disgusting... a big fat bully... if someone ever punched him in the face he'd lay on the ground howling like the pig he is.

The bully is Vladamir Putin. All Trump did was remind Zelenskyy who was on his side and reminded him that he ought to be respectful of that. This war can end in two ways. Through a peace agreement with concessions and compromises from Zelenskyy who is at the shorter end of the stick here, or through annihilation if the U.S. decides to abandon Ukraine when it is realized that support from other countries outside the U.S. prove to be inefficient to stop Russia from finishing them off. If there is no deal and the U.S. steps aside, Russia has the ability to finish the job, and they will do it swiftly. If Zelenskyy does not understand this, he truly is an idiot and has coming to him whatever he gets.

Both men lost their cool. Not a set up

It was clearly a premeditated set-up designed to be "great TV," choreographed by reality TV celebrity, trump. The maga-Republicans (except for "good boy Marco") knew going in what their scripted roles were, including the clown who seriously questioned Zelenskyy's dress code. Notice when he came to London, that wasn't an issue. Notice how maga-darling, Elon dresses to applause. To expect Zelenskyy to sit obediently like "Little Marco Rubio" is neither reasonable nor logical. trump and team knew that going in. It was literally a skit played for a world audience. Instead of looking like a tough guy though, trump appeared to be a washed-up reality TV star with a routine that is obvious and a motive that is self-serving.

The egg was on Zelenskyy's face and it can be put no other way. Trump nor Vance begged this interaction. Zelenskyy did when he disrespected the American people directly in front of the very people who have quite literally funded his country's existence. Trump was right, without American support, or any support from other countries, Ukraine would have been wiped out in two weeks or less. Zelenskyy is either delusional about that, or ungrateful, or both, and he thinks he has the upper hand here, or has an advantage with the backing of the United States. He has neither. Zelenskyy did no justice for the people of Ukraine or the effort to make peace. Look, I didn't "enjoy" the display either. We all know this is how diplomacy goes behind closed doors. It never makes its way to the public eye. But Trump did not bring it to us, Zelenskyy did and it can be seen no other way. If Trump would have sat idly by and did nothing, that would have looked far worse than the exchange we actually saw.

What else can a trump-apologist say? Just ask Boy-Lindsey Graham. trump brought this to the public (including Russia by letting in a TASS reporter) for the public display he scripted. Sidekick Vance came in on cue and it all went according to plan... except for the part that it made trump look like a jackass for whining he wasn't getting thanked enough and badmouthing Bush, Obama, and Biden on the world stage as he screamed how everyone respects him like a browbeaten little b*tch. People who have earned respect and respect themselves don't have a need to go around telling everyone how respected they are. You might take a lesson from that as an astute businessman and renown investor. Zelenskyy has thanked Americans and the EU for their support countless times. It's all on video on every major platform... if you can believe what you read and see for yourself. It's damn right rude for a guy with (fake) bone spurs, a guy who claimed some of his constituents were eating the cats and dogs, and "Little Marco Rubio" sitting silently like a well-behaved child who is not sure what is going on to start lecturing a guy who turned a 3-day "Special Russian Operation" into a 3-year war that so far is a draw. And, trying to push him to surrender with dishonour so that trump can run to Putin for affection is beyond rude. It's insane (on the order of magnitude of being demented) and pathetic. Zelenskyy did the right thing for his own country and for the free world. Too bad, the USA under trump now sides with the likes of Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Even "the red hats" are disgraced even though they are obligated to recite how proud they are of their dear leader... and Elon Musk.

It's what trump calls, "great TV." That's his only real interest... after playing golf during work hours.
