There is an old saying that if March comes in like a lamb it will go out like a lion.
The opposite is happening here today. We have a very windy cold start to the day today. There are snow flurries in the air also. 
I am hoping that since March is coming in like a lion it will go out like a lamb. Sometimes the entire month of March can be cold and miserable, hopefully we feel a bit of warming up as the month progresses.

It is sort of a mix here today, but tomorrow will be very cold and windy.

@snowy22315 OMG, I just checked the forecast and Wednesday's high is 10, a far cry from the -9 it is today. It will get nicer each day, if that forecast can be trusted, and really, Wed is the far end of the forecast which is usually only accurate for 5 days.
Currently we are under a snow squall warning-lucky us.

I just got back in from shopping.
It is very windy and bitterly cold.
It is snowing a bit.
I cannot believe how miserably cold it is out.
I have to go out to get the cake for my husband's birthday celebration, but I will take the newer SUV as it has heated seats, and today is the day for those.
I haven't looked at the long term forecast, but I hope that the entire month won't be like this.

I just ordered our Chinese food online (you save 10% doing it that way) and we will pick up our order on our way over to our son's place. I picked up a nice ice cream cake to celebrate my husband's birthday together this evening. The twins love ice cream cake.

@Juliaacv I did not remember you had steel in your head Julia. Yes my son has that broken plate in his collarbone..pain I know what you mean.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, there is a steel plate behind my forehead which is where they removed the tumour on my brain.
I did lie down and I feel much better. I woke feeling warm, and I was feeling so cold, and after a nice warm shower I feel much better. Thank you.

It seems to be an interesting saying, and well it seems to hold true for you! A cold, windy start with snow flurries definitely sounds like March coming in with a roar. March is also a special month for me, as it is the month I would be celebrating my birthday. Perhaps the end of the month will be calm and pleasant like a lamb. However, March can be unpredictable. I hope it warms up soon. Where I live, the temperature is souring to 36C and well it is getting warmer and warmer. We have to bear another 3 months of summer. I cannot wait till June to be away from the harsh summer. I hope you stay warm and cozy today. Wishing you a great start to March!

Ugh, this grip that winter has on us has to loosen and let spring come in.
We are under a snow squall warning until 3pm.
I have to go out in a little while to pick up the cake for my husband's birthday celebration.
I used strong hold mousse on my hair this morning, but with the wind you would never know. It looks like a rat's nest already.
