Volodymyr Zelensky was set up.
Trump previously expressed his anti views, made his dislike public. To twist the game he had a public meeting where he could provoke.
Everyone... well everyone not in the US knows Trump is owned and operated by Putin and has done everything possible weaken and expose the US to his 'massa'.
No matter what Zelensky did or said, unless he got on the floor and kissed Trump's feet would have the same response. The decision to support Russia was made long before the election.

@jaylar It was absolutely disgusting. Zelenskyy is trying to save his country. Trump dodged the draft 5 times because he is a p-word. For ANY American politician to speak to Zelenskyy that way would be a horror but for the president and VP? Great job America. That is what we have representing the US. It isn't a "tough guy" look like you think. It is an "a-hole" look.

From what I am reading online today, pretty much every country imaginable is rallying behind the Ukraine and supporting them. Nobody wants to see anybody have the minerals stripped from their land or lose their identity.
Mr Trump comes on strong, but we have to remember that and look beyond the lack of professionalism, not everyone is an effective communicator as we all know.

@jaylar I think that Trump will find out in a heck of a hurry that Putin has his eyes set on those minerals and has for a few years. I think that Trump must realize this as he is not very happy otherwise and puts down the rest of the word, in particular, he enjoys bad-mouthing Canada, we just put up and shut up and wish that he would shut up before another war breaks out.

Trump is his own person and if you are believing everything you see on the news you are not fully educating yourself on the matter. I urge you to some research for yourself.

@jaylar I've done the research thanks. I researched seriously before voting for Trump, and have faith he is doing the best for the country. You are not experiencing the real problems that Biden and Obama caused for this country. So you are unable to see the good that Trump is doing.
