I fixed it. . .

I "fixed" the TV. Put new batteries in the remote, turned off the power for a while and "voila!" Bob can now watch TV again and I do not have to buy a new one very soon. I also had the opportunity to learn about its settings. I have not fixed my headache. Next on my agenda is a hot shower, hoping for some relief. Maybe I will have another cup of coffee. Whatever happens, I need to get up and get going . . . or I need another nap. Oh, and I need to do Bob's eye drops.

I hope your headache is gone. Learning new stuff about our TV's these days is really different from those olden days when it wasn't as complicated ..... unless the dern thing blew a tube or whatever they're called.

Glad that the TV is fixed for Bob and you don't need to buy a new one. Sorry about the headache. I hope that the hot shower and coffee helps. Take care. Have a good day.

That and rebooting by shutting down. Those are the first two things we should always try.

I hope the hot shower will be enough, coffee works 50/50 with me: it can either fix a headache or make it worse. Then it’s great the TV didn’t need to be replaced.

I thought at first the headache was because I had not had much coffee or caffeine on Friday. That was only part of the problem.

I do not watch TV at all. My husband does. I am online a lot and reading stuff on Facebook.

@GardenGerty I hope your husband enjoys it! Are memes still popular on Facebook? I've never used the site, but it became popular due to memes.

I'm glad you got the TV working again. I'm sure Bob is happy with that. I'm sorry you have a headache and hope you get rid of it soon. Apparently I missed an earlier discussion while I was asleep today.

I am sure I miss many discussions due to sleep. And headaches.

@GardenGerty I try to catch up every time I'm back online again. And I did find your other discussion. Catching up after sleeping all day usually isn't a problem. It's when I can't see that I get too far behind. Your headache is still there? OUCH! Maybe call the ER and talk to them or your insurance should have a nurse that you can call, too. Surely somebody can do something for you.

I can't think what to suggest for the headache other than pain-killers.

I had missed some meds. It seems to be sinus related.
