I finally figured it out

I had a lot of leg cramps last night, and woke up with a headache. It turns out that I had not taken my evening meds last night. Actually I had missed them three times in the last two weeks. In my evening meds I have an allergy medicine. By the end of the day today I was feeling like my sinuses were my chief headache problem. Of course, I had missed the allergy med. And my magnesium supplement. The magnesium supplement helps me not to have headaches, and muscle cramps. So I did take my evening medicine. I also used an extra dose of Flonase nasal spray. That is a suggestion from my doctor. Coffee, pain relievers, and extra sleep had not erased the headache, but I am better now, just in time for bed.

I'm glad you figured it out! I was really getting worried about you! Once in a while I forget my evening meds, too. The only one of my evening meds that is REALLY important is the BP med... I can tell if I've missed it but not until my BP is WAY too high.

@Laurakemunto It's really easy to do. I start reading a book and forget anything else. Sometimes I don't even notice what time it is until I start getting dizzy and then I realize I've forgotten my meds... Pretty is usually busy, too, so she doesn't think to remind me.

I'm glad you worked out what it was. It's hard sometimes to keep up with medications.

I am glad you are doing much better now. I suggest you get one of those pill boxes with the days of the week on them to help you keep track of all your meds. That should help you stay on top of your meds and not miss a day.

They say the calcium deficiency may cause leg cramps.

Sorry you got leg cramps too but at least they helped figure out what caused the headache. Glad you're better now, have sweet dreams and a good sleep.

Glad you are feeling better, that sounds like a horrible combination. I had a sudden attack of muscle cramps in my legs a couple of weeks ago. Never experienced anything like it before! I had gone to bed early-ish when I suddenly woke up about midnight with terrible cramp in both lower legs. No idea what brought that on and I was really hoping this wasn't something that would happen often as it was SO painful! Thankfully it hasn't happened again since then. So you really have my sympathy
