At least the pie was good

So, I went into town yesterday to have breakfast, it was actually a second breakfast, as they served their breakfast until noon so I went to a cafe in town that really is noted for their pies. I was happy to find a breakfast place beyond the usual suspects, and it was affordable as well. So, I order blueberry pancakes. They were not good..which begs the question how can you ruin blueberry pancakes? They were tasteless. I could have made them 10x better at home. Anyway, I did buy a couple of slices of pie to take home and I ate one last night. It was awesome...almost, almost made up for the pancakes. Did you ever have a disappointing restaurant meal?

@snowy22315 No, that doesn’t sound good at all. We happened to get a waiter that was incredibly good. I wanted to put him in my pocket and take him home.

See, I didn't really like Olive Garden last time I went which was unfortunately my bday. Maybe it was just the atmosphere, we were seated in the bar area and the waitress was yakking with the bartender the whole time, and I think the TV was on too. Not nice for a bday

Yes, I have had disappointing meals in a restaurant and that was the last time I ate there.

They are really nice people in there and their pie is excellent. I will probably give them a second chance. I had something once before there that seemed good

I've never had blueberry pie before, but I have had a disappointing experience with apple pie. It was very soggy and bitter.

The pie wasn't blueberry .the pancakes were. I am not a huge apple pie fan .unless it has the crumb topping.

@snowy22315 I need to see my eye doctor. I've made two mistakes with two other members this week. Apple pie is my favorite, so.i was disappointed by one experience last year. It was even cold.
