I am almost nervous. Five of my music students will be performing today.

We are having an "Open House," or whatever it's called, at Guitar Center today. Five of my students will be performing. I will accompany some of them on guitar or piano. It should be fun. The kids will be a bit nervous before they go on, and will have a sense of accomplishment when they are done. I do not teach toward "performing." I teach toward the joy of playing music, alone or with others. But playing music inevitably involves playing for others at some point. Please wish my students enjoyable experiences today.

I wish them all the best! I can understand why you are nervous, but I'm sure they will be fine when they have a wonderful teacher like you!

@TheHorse You are welcome. Stay sober though. No "acid," okay?

It will be a big big experience for your students. And of course, the tension and nervousness would be a lot for them. I hope that they perform really well. My best wishes with your students and you!

I hope it goes well for your students. You may not have trained them to play to perform but apparently it was something they wanted. I hope it gets videoed so they have something to look back on
