$100 budget for a lab class

Oh I am lit and not in a good way. I just read an email saying that I have a $100 budget for next year's classes. I'm assuming that they are biology but this is always fun because they have us order for what we are currently teaching but then can find out in 2 months that next year we are doing something else entirely. $100 for supplies to teach what is claimed to be a "lab" class? Are they out of their minds? I can't even get a week's worth of groceries for $100. I understand that the district is in a financial crisis but why are the German and French teachers getting more money for supplies than I am? Do they not understand what "consumables" are? I am so mad that I'm not even mad. I cannot let this stupidity destroy my day off. I will deal with it tomorrow.
