Welcome to Another Monday

So this Monday I'm at Chris's because I can't work tomorrow. I have a dentist appointment right in the middle of the day. Then my husband has one later in the afternoon and I said that I would go with him. He's a little nervous. I have to say that it's a pretty good start to the day. I got a shirt order done and more of the business cards. I even got two more orders over the weekend. If this one order is for real, her order alone will pay for a new tire for my car lol. Since I've decided to go for Lieutenant, I've made a few realizations. One is that I need to get better at a few skills. Two, I really need to work on my attitude lol. I have a short temper and it shows in my mouth and if my mouth doesn't say it my face will. I really need to fix that. The skills can be learned and the thinking under pressure is not too bad for me but the attitude is going to take some time lol. I'll get there though. I'm taking this year to work on me and getting better at certain things. The business is still doing well. I got some reading in on Sunday but Saturday and Sunday during the day were just busy. Lots of errands and then we had the department meeting Sunday. It was pretty quick which is good. Means there were no issues to deal with. There's computer work to be done today and then we have extrication training tonight. I'm really excited to be cutting up cars lol. The rookie school we have will be there tonight as well so I'm pretty sure we'll be outside. I'm also planning an open house for our station. I doubt that our members will show up but it'll be fine either way. I hope they do but we'll make it work. It's going to be another busy year but I'm looking forward to it.
