I finally own a Stanley tumbler

I'm a pretty simple person. Yes I can have expensive taste in certain things but for the most part I just like what I like and tend to stick with that stuff. I don't pay attention to trends nor do I follow them. For example by the time I became interested in Sanuks, Hey Dudes were the "in" footwear.
For Christmas my sister gave me some ugly-ass beach/pool bag that apparently was all the rage at the yacht club last summer.
I knew Stanley tumblers were currently popular because I see so many students with them at work. I already had a Klean Kanteen and another water bottle so I was not tempted when I looked them up on Amazon and saw that they cost $45.
Then last night I realized that I had left both of my refillable water bottles in the fridge at work and I was not going there today. If I was going to spend all day at court then I knew I was going to need water. Enter the overnight Amazon delivery.
I ordered a blue 40 ounce tumbler with a flip straw top. I filled it up with ice and water when it was delivered this morning and all of these hours later the water is still nice and cold and the ice for the most part hasn't melted. Impressive. That is my big complaint about my Klean Kanteen. It isn't insulated and doesn't keep water cold for very long.
So now I have a water bottle for court (and work) and I can finally toss the Klean Kanteen. Being on trend is simply an unintended side-effect.

I hope you enjoy your Stanley tumbler I have a Yeti one but it does not have a flip top like yours. Sometimes the dupes of the expensive things are just as good as the expensive ones

I love my coffee, and my other drink is ice water. Several years ago, my oldest son bought me two tall Contigo drink containers. I really love them. Coffee stays hot for hours, and my water stays icy cold. I love the lids because they have a lock thing. I can even snap the lock and put it in my purse, no leaks, ever. I do think the Stanley cups seem pretty nice, but I’m good with the two he bought for me.
