Ash Wednesday

It's Ash Wednesday here. We are not Catholic anymore but we used to be 23 years ago. I'm a religious person and so for me I'm more happy with Holy Week than Christmas Ash Wednesday the priest will put ash in your forehead. I also like the Palm Sunday. I also like Pabasa where people go to chapels and chant or sing with a book called Pasyon or Passion of Christ. I love the quietness during Holy Week since no regular programming in TV but mostly religious programs. When we are still Catholic we attend Good Friday and Black Saturday mass. At Easter people are happy again

Now we conduct Encounter Weekend, 3 day retreat mostly for new believers. And before we celebrate Easter with free food like soup and do some easter egg hunting

The holy week is important though you no longer catholic , but am happy you still remember it

Yes since I became a Born again everyday is always a holy day not just on holy week
