Periwinkle

Today, I just learned that periwinkles can be propagated by cutting a healthy stem. In my hometown, periwinkles are a common flowering plant and usually we only have two kinds of colors. But it is amazing to know that there really a lot of colors and varieties including blue, green, yellow among others. In the school where I teach, our facade garden has periwinkles with different colors of flowers. I think there are around 10 different colors.
So, I tried cutting stems and planted in a very small pot in my room and indeed it seems to be working because they stay alive after two days. So I am expecting some roots in a few days' time. Periwinkles have seeds and you can grow them by their seeds too.

Yeah, there are a lot of colors ffor that flowering vine. We had pink, purple and blue growing around the front porch at the last house we lived in. They were pretty.
I got starts for those plants from an abandoned house out in the country when Pretty and I went driving...
I'm glad your starts are doing well.
