Happy Hump Day!!!

Here it is Wednesday, March 5,2025!!! Where has the time gone?? It seems the older I get the faster the time passes!! Luckily we didn't get the snow in our area as was predicted (knock on wood!!) We're only going to get up in the 40's, but by the weekend we'll get up into the 70's (that's Farenheit degrees.) That will be a nice treat again!! This weekend is also the start of daylight savings time. I agree with what my dad always use to say "Set the time ahead a half hour and leave it!!" Any ways, enough of my ramblings I need to finish house cleaning as tomorrow I clean the village office and library. I work part-time cleaning our village office and I have side gigs I do like taking care of people's dogs when they go on vacation and taking care of horse's when some one is on vacation. I was surprised by how much money people pay, but then again, they're pets don't have to be "homed" some where else, so actually I'm saving them money while I'm making money. I love taking care of the animals anyway!!! So, feel free and drop by and leave any ramblings that you have!!! Happy Hump Day!!! *Peace*

I’m in total agreement with your dad’s remark to just “compromise” by setting the clock ahead 30 minutes and leaving it there. I have a DexaScan (bone density scan) at the VA tomorrow, then I might take off for a couple of days…assuming it’s not going to sn*w. We’re actually supposed to get sn*w showers this evening; however, given that it was nearly 70 yesterday, they say it won’t stick.

I forgot that we change the clocks this upcoming weekend. At least it will stay lighter longer. I really hate when it gets so dark so early during the winter. I think I saw a day ahead where me might hit 70 degrees. Sounds good to me, Pet sitting sounds like a fun way to make money and I'm sure people are happier to have their pets stay in their own home while they're away.
