My nephew will be my neighbour

There is a house in my property that is lying vacant. My nephew will be comming to occupy for a short period as his house is being done up and that he says will take a few months
He is expected today to add some electrical points to take care of his needs and anything else that he may need
I am happy to have him around.

It is good that you will live next door. Having a family member nearby can sometimes feel a bit reassuring; they are around or near us. However, since this is only temporary, I suppose he will eventually leave once his house is actually ready for occupants.

How cool. You know what you could do.. Once he has the place fixed up with electricity and everything, leave it that way even after he moves to his new place.
You could use it as a guest house, an escape, turn it into a little shop and sell stuff, rent it out for monthly cash, the possibilities are endless.

It was meant for a caretaker and that never happened. Maids did live there but not for long
