Happy Thursday Everyone! after a night of heavy rain and gusting wind we only have cloudy skies today but the wind is still strong. Of course tonight is trash night but if the wind doesn't die down then I guess we'll have to wait until next week to put the trash out. Last time we had wind like this the trash cans were blown all over and trash was all around the neighborhood. It was so bad that our HOA actually sent out an email stating that when it's this windy we shouldn't put the cans out. You would think common sense would have prevailed but no. I just wasted an hour of my time waiting for my computer to update. I sat down with my coffee, all ready to chat and do some online stuff when the computer decided to do an update. Usually, I get a notice or it just updates in the middle of the night so I guess it just had a mind of it's own this morning. Why it took an hour is beyond me. While it was updating, I decided to read my book. It's a page-turner for sure and I'm tempted to just read all day (it's that good). In case you're wondering it's First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston. It was on the Goodreads list last year as being one of the top books but I never got around to reading it. Although my day was off to a non routine start I am hoping to still be able to spend some time here and chat for awhile. My daughter has a meeting this afternoon so she's taking an early lunch. Meanwhile, I want to go online and see what's on the registry for the bridal shower for my grandsons fiance. The shower is already next month so it's time to get crackin.
