Firefighters in Providence Rhode Island answered an emergency call on Monday night about a house fire that trapped two toddlers and a dog who were inside a burning home in the second floor with a male person adult inside asking the firefighters to rescue the children and their pet dog. The firefighters were able to rescue the children who were unconscious as they were trapped inside of their bedroom by using a ladder to reach the children and dog as they were handed out of the window to firefighter Lieutenant Christopher Stoney one at a time. Both children were taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where they are expected to make a full recovery. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities. The good news is that no one was seriously hurt in the fire. Link is firehouse.com/operations-tra...

It was scary for the firefighters to witness the two children unconscious inside of their bedroom with the dog taking care of them.

Kudos to those fire rescuers; a great save to what could have been a much worse disaster.
