There is a good movie to watch again at Netflix. / myLot

This morning I was trying to find something that would cheer me up at Netflix. And I found a movie I had watched a lot time ago and loved. The film was Frida, about the wonderful Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Every time I go to Ciudad de Mexico, I also go to Frida´s house in Coyoacán. It is a sort of museum with her paintings and the furtiture she had when she lived there. Frida Kahlo is one of my favorite painters. Do you know about her? I also recommend the movie. It hasn´t aged a bit.

I can´t paint better than what a toddler would do.

As painters go, I have my favorites. And Frida Kahlo is one of them. The film is about the story of her life. I recommend it.

salma hayek was frida, right? i watched it a long time ago. i didn't know much before the movie.

She was. I saw the movie a long time ago and I loved it again when I saw it now. When the film was made Chabela Vargas was alive and she sang La llorona and appeared in the film.

A wonderful painter and artist! I did not know too much about her but I definitely know her name. I don't have that Netflix but maybe I can find it elsewhere.

It's been a while I didn't renew my Netflix subscription. Sometimes I get bored with movies on Netflix. I found your post and your recommendation quite interesting, so I'll renew my subscription and check the movie out.

I never go to the cinema any longer so I find that Netflix is a good alternative. There are several films that I have liked. This is one of them.
