What Kind of Home Do You Have?

I've noticed that a majority of people here on myLot seem to live in apartments.
But I wanted to check my theory on that, so I'm asking what kind of home you have. It could be a house, a condo, a trailer, an apartment, a commune, etc.
I'll go first.
I live in what they call a "patio home." It's a one-story condo attached to another unit, with no upstairs and no basement. I have a front yard and a rear yard with a fenced patio. My unit is about 2400 sq ft with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage.
We don't have to do any of our own yard work, landscaping, roofing, or exterior maintenance.
We own the unit.
Now it's your turn. What kind of home do you live in?

Single family, 2 bedroom and one bath. On about 4 acres. Front yard is fenced for the dogs. Small area off the back door is fenced for dogs if needed but also a safe hiding spot for the cats if something is after them

My house is a 2 story house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus another separate bedroom with a bathroom for a maid. But I now live only in the first floor and I have given the garden and terrace to Luna. When I have a barbecue we have it in the half open garage.

It would be quite similar to yours I guess but we're not attached to next door except along the garage wall. It's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very small front and back yards and in a gated community. We own it but there is a 'community of owners' which set a few rules from time to time.

You have a nice set up. I live in a single family detached home. Single story. It used to be a duplex but we bought it, opened a doorway between the kitchens (I want it more open) and opened between our living room and dining room.We have four lots. It is old, slightly run down, and we are making improvements. Four small bedrooms with some built in storage, two full baths, lots of open space around us. A "garage/shed" at the back of the lot that was here, a "she shed" that I bought and had brought in.

In Mississippi and West Virginia we have a house. Both homes have 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. No fences in Mississippi, but we have a fenced in backyard in WV. Neither have a garage. Mississippi is a one story and WV a two story. Your patio area is lovely.

Except for a six month period when I was getting divorced from my first wife, I've always owned and now I rent a single family home with two or more bedrooms.
My daughter and I have a two bedroom home with a 2 acre back yard and a small front yard. We have a two car garage that is too small for our car. (I can pull the car inside but the garage is too narrow to open both front doors.) We rent this house. I got tired of owning a home with all the costs that entails. I'm getting older and can't do the work myself so it's cheaper to let the landlady pay for repairs.
