True. Also travelling comes with own set of challenges. I am easily fatigued and I am somewhat of a germophobe. Maybe I am not cut out for travelling.

When I was a teenager and up until Pretty was out of college, we traveled all over the US. (I've also traveled a short distance into Mexico but Pretty didn't go with me when I made that trip.) And yes, we thoroughly enjoyed traveling and exploring our country.
We always traveled by car. (Pretty and I have both been up in a small plane and a helicopter but I'd rather not fly again. Pretty was supposed to fly to Hawaii when she graduated from college but decided she didn't want to fly there so never left the US.)
Some of my jobs were some distance from where I lived at the time but never more than 200 km away from home. Most of the time I didn't mind driving that far every day but it does get tiring.
I hope, if you have to travel to work that you don't have to travel long distances every day. (My Indian brother travels by train for an hour to and from work every day.) Sometimes we text while he's traveling. He's not fond of traveling every day to his job.

@Dreamerby Sometimes we just traveled several hundred kilometers just to see what we could see... We loved traveling to rivers and lakes and going canoeing every weekend. We also went to all kinds of amusement parks all over the US, too.
Pretty was really fun to travel with when she was young. She'd talk my ear off about anything she could think of or anything she saw out the car windows. (As an adult, she usually plays on her phone and that's not much fun for me. Once in a while she'll still talk with me when we're driving somewhere but not often.)

Wow great travel experiences. Travelling long distance by car kinda makes me nauseous though
Yeah Indian trains for you know daily commute are on another level! Anybody would start hating their life if they have to do that everyday for job/college; for college you can skip some days maybe but job you have to turn up everyday!

I used to love traveling when I was young. Now I prefer to watch things on TV.

I wish I could travel more, I need the money as well as travel buddies because the world is a dangerous place at times and it can be more fun with the right people. I feel like I’m traveling when I attend ethnic festivals or eat ethnic food, not the same but way more affordable. Books and YouTube don’t cut it for me.

@Dreamerby Yeah, I mean... watching cooking videos doesn't make my tummy full, same with travel videos: they make me want to visit places even more.
