Sunshine!

After several dreary days, I see sunshine this morning. The sun has moved far enough to the North that I don't have to close my curtains at 7:30 AM (my apartment faces East) for an hour or so.
I think it may reach the 60s F (teens C) here today. I only have about six students today at Guitar Center, and then I'm off to dinner at a friend's house. Interesting situation at my friend's house, but I'll write about that later.
How is your day shaping up? And of course how is the weather? Oh, and are there times of the year when the sun shines though your windows such that you have to close the curtains for awhile?

It is 25 degrees here right now and sunny not sure how warm it is suppose to get here today.

Still reeling from Freddies passing but getting myself together. I have the poster Abbey Road with the Beatles across the lower half of my window in the workroom. I gives me a chance to see the laptop without the sun shining on it and leaves enough room at the bottom for Tish to sunbathe,

@TheHorse that was one shock I certainly did not need. I know you understand how hard it is now to control my anxiety but I am managing.

@TheHorse not the heatwaves. It's almost 40 C during the peak summer months here.

My house is oriented North and South. In the bedroom the curtains are always shut. That would be one east facing window. In the sewing room I like the light to come in. On the other hand, to help keep the house cooler in the evenings, the office and other bedroom have to have curtains shut on the west windows. We had sunlight, but were about ten degrees F cooler than you. I like the sun, it makes me happy .

We sometimes have to close the curtains if the sunlight is coming in during the peak summer time : May & June.
It was a relaxing day early on.
Yet hectic later as I had official work on the weekend and just winded up.
The day temperature is close to 30 C and thr night temperature falls to 15 to 16 C.
It can be a bit tricky at times with such low temperatures.

We close the curtains when it's really hot. It helps keep the house cool.
