Yes, India is congested and crowded and sometimes the infrastructure can seem a little shaky, but there's constant improvement. This is a new highway being built between Bangalore and Chennai and someone sent me pictures of some of the completed portions that are very well constructed. Hope it stays that way!

There are still sections that have not been renovated, but they're working on it.

@pitstop All these things take time. The trouble in Perth is that by the time new roads go in, traffic has increased so much that there is still congestion.

The problem is often the drivers. A lot of impatient drivers. keep horning whenever the traffic is not at their favour.

Yes, honking and rash drivers can make it a pain to drive in the best of roads.
