Yesterday Roscoe got really nasty with me. He kept barking at me and wouldn't stop then it looked as if he was threatening me and along came Tuffy, he was growling and hissing at Roscoe which shut Roscoe up in a heartbeat. I didn't realize until yesterday just how nasty Roscoe could get or how protective of me Tuffy would be. I love both of them and now I know who to trust no matter what. Did you know that some cats will protect their owners even from dogs bigger than they are? Last night Tuffy began to play with my shoe, it was so cute that I videoed him, what do you think?

Yes, I've had 5 cats over the years and all have been affectionate but Tuffy demonstrates his so differently than the others did.

@rebelann We had a dog that we used to call a humog, she was 49% human and 51% dog. I think that Tuffy is a caog, 49% cat and 51% dog.

I didn't know that either, Tuffy is a siamese and I have heard over the years that siamese kitties are protective of their humans and other kritters they deem belong to them, I've never had any of my other cats do that.

Wow wow wow - I guess Tuffy showed him - oh my goodness. What happened with Roscoe? Tuffy will get out the boxing gloves if he needs to . . . or maybe boxing shoes .

Roscoe got mad at me because I didn't give him a 'cookie' when he begged for one, it's really my own fault for spoiling him but I was surprised at just how angry he got. Yeah, I was even more surprised when Tuffy ran in to confront him for daring to challenge me. I won't be giving Roscoe cookies unless I make him do something to earn it. I guess I should be humbled that my kitty is my defender. It's really dry here, how is it in LA? I hope there won't be any fires again for a very long time.

I've removed his reason for being such an a$$ I shouldn't have spoiled him in the first place by always giving him treats whenever he begged for them, now he'll have to earn his treats ....... I haven't exactly figured out what he'll have to do to earn them as of yet.
