It was a good match and the fight was on till the end. It was reverse of the fortunes of 2000 ICC knockout tournment. Similarity between both matches were that the team that lost had an upper hand to an extent and then lost it. When the match started , Rachin gave a solid start and it looked anywhere between 300-320. Luckily spinners were able to apply the brakes. The good things about the Indian innings was the solid 100 -1st wicket partnership. Once that foundation was there , it was all about keeping the momentum going and they did well. Well, lot of offers were going on both offline and online. Glad the Indian team won!

@RevivedWarrior India had a good chance in the 2000 knockout finals bit I remember Chris Cairns playing a good role in the Kiwi victory. Chris Cairns used to had a great record against India.

@pitstop The match was quite close ! One more wicket before 200 would have made things much trickier for India ! However, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, K.L.Rahul, Pandya and Jadeja took India home with a good combination of aggression and sensible Cricket.
