Good afternoon from this side of the planet. . It's 4:20 PM, a warm day with bright sun and lovely breeze. It's Sunday afternoon and my weekend begins...I know that it might be coming to an end for many. But mine starts now. I am resting my feet finishing a long list of chores since the morning. And now I plan to stay lazy in front of the TV with my family enjoying the finals of Champions trophy. The Kiwis and India are in final. Both teams are strong Cricket team and it should be an interesting match for cricket lovers. Cricket is the most popular game in India and I am sure that most of the families are glued to their TV set. My elder daughter came yesterday for a week from her college. So, there is a good company for my husband. They both are crazy about Cricket, Football, Tennis.... and keep adding more to their list . Yesterday was a day full of fun and we had a very good response to our stall at the fair. I came back selling everything there. And could give our cute business cards ( the panda bookmark) to many more. They really liked the cute panda bookmark instead of a regular business card It was fulfilling but standing in the stall for more than three hours was tiring. We had chairs to sit but with the crowd coming to stall, I couldn't. I was handling it alone and that was a bit overwhelming. Thanks to the crowd, they were understanding enough to wait for payments, packaging etc We had 125 products ( including everything)in total and we sold 123 of them. In fact the not framed art on paper ( 2 of them) were the left ones and I brought them back. They were also sold but while packing it, I realised that they were slightly torn on edge. I apologized for that and kept it aside. Seems like a damage in carrying it as it was not framed. That couple wanted it despite the damage but it didn't feel right on my part to give them something that is damaged. I assured them that I will deliver them a fresh piece in some days. Luckily they stay very close to my place and they will come to pick up when it's ready. They need it by 31st March. So, that's one order I will work and finish. Was very thankful to the friends who gave me this opportunity free of cost. They are two of them running the school in partnership. Just to show my gratitude, presented them with a small token of our hand crafted products. Overall, it was a long tiring day but a fulfilling one. My daughter was over excited to see her bank balance increase after all the sale. I slept soon after dinner at 8. Now, tomorrow is a day off for me. It's exam day and no work for me. So, my weekend actually starts now. Hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend Stay happy and healthy in your myLot corner

I'm glad that we won the trophy. But I don't enjoy cricket. Since my teenage I have been a football and hockey lover.

Yes, whether we are interested in any sports or not, whenever the country gets the trophy, it is a proud and celebration moment for everyone. I used to follow and enjoy so many sports during my student life. Now, I don't find time for them. Fortunately, my husband and elder daughter are big time sports fan and play too. They are into cricket, football, tennis, badminton, hockey....and I get to catch the glimpse of ongoing matches and stay updated.

Thank you so much. It was a great sale. My daughter and my special needs youth who are trained by me got some money to feel happy and proud. Also, few of my old artworks in one sketch book got buyers. So, I too got some money

Thank you Judy. It felt so good to sell everything that we made and collected over few months. Now, that space is free at home to make some new. We got some good number of orders too. Yay!! India won. So, they are the champions for the second time in a row.
