Horrific car crash with one of my former students

I am so upset. I don't know the details. It seems he wasn't in the car fleeing police but in any case. . . the whole thing is awful. Few details have been released because pretty much everyone involved was under 18. What I do know is that a former student is dead after a 118 mph car chase.
The kid wasn't a great student for me but he was a good person. He did well in other classes and was a leader for his peers. I am so sick about this.

May he rest in peace. He was unlicensed. He should've held back on driving until he was licensed and then followed the speeding limit. He was very young.
