A horrible accident

Last week there was a really terrible accident at the house across the street from our daughter Tammy's.
The house has been for sale for a while in their cul-de-sac in Mt Pleasant (across the bridge from Charleston SC.)
A family with children were touring it when they heard a loud sound. Their young child had been exploring the bonus room upstairs and fell through the floor to the garage floor below.
The cubby in the room had an attic like floor which will easily give way if stepped on.
Tammy saw the fire trucks, police cars, and an ambulance which carried the child out.
We don't know the extent of the injuries or if the child even survived.
No one lives there, so no info. I pray the child will recover. What a horrible scare for all of them.

Oh my goodness. I hope the child will fully recover soon. That must've been so painful and frightening.

Pretty never went with me when she was younger when I was looking at a house to buy or rent until this one. Since she'd be signing the rental agreement with me, she had to be present when we checked the house out.
Kids shouldn't be taken on a tour of a house, in my opinion. I guess it's a good? thing they did take them or they might have bought that house without knowing about the badly constructed closet floor.
I hope the kid is okay.
