A Tough Monday

Today, the Monday following the spring forward time change. It is a day where people are not yet fully adjusted to that hour's switch. Today is a day that we are warned to take extra care when driving, as there is always a spike in auto accidents the Monday following the time change. I asked my husband to take extra care. Although he may feel himself, others behind the wheel may not. Days like this I am happy that I work from home. It will make for a much easier Monday.............I hope. If you are going out today, please take extra care.

Makes me wonder why we keep changing the clocks when it definitely affects us.

I saw on the news that the time was decided as a result of the trains leaving/arriving in New York. They had no trains due or leaving at 2am, so they chose that time. But it is time to let it go and stay on the time we are now.

I am doing my best to take care of myself by working inside of my home.

I am so very tired today, that I have already had supper, cleaned up the kitchen, showered and am in my nightshirt so that I can relax and go to bed early. I am ready for bed, but want to stay up as long as I can to get back on my usual schedule.

Hmmmm, I think I'll rethink the idea I had to go out and about tomorrow, it can wait, so I'll do that another week. Thanks for making me think.

To complicate matters more, this week is March Break for our elementary and high school students and staff. Alot of parents take the week off to keep their children entertained, the roads will be busy with that.

I do appreciate the extra daylight, but I wish they would end Daylight Savings Time.

@Juliaacv So many angry drivers. They purposely drive people off the roads. That is murder.

I wish they would leave it alone. It usually takes me at least a week to adjust.

I am sorry for you. It is only 6pm and I've had supper, cleaned up the kitchen, showered and am dressed for bed. I want to relax and try to stay up as long as I can, but it will be an early night, and I hope the very same for you.

There were so many crazy drivers yesterday, and it was raining. It doesn't bother me, I got an extra hour in.

It's another Monday for us. The only difference is I know we're tired as the weekend was more tiring than the hour change.
