Have you ever questioned yourself why you were born in the first place?
I live in a somewhat broken family. Both my parents have their first families. I actually don't know whether i'm lucky or not that i get to be with them during my younger years because i experienced bullying in those times. I was called illegitimate child in most times and my relatives on my father's side don't treat me well. Sometimes those memories make me question myself why i was born. Now, I have a family of my own and i don't want my child to experience the same fate as mine. I am very glad and grateful for the family I have now, they are my greatest blessing. Now I know why I was born... to have a family... to have a purpose... i was born to be loved.

I was born into a very loving family and I still have that question. It's worse when you're stuck in a rut in life and you can't seem to get out of it. Until we joined the first responder agencies that we did, we were pretty aimless and now we have a purpose. Not saying that that's a solution for everyone, it's just what helped us.

Good for you. I want to achieve my dreams in my life so that I'm happy just in case I will die someday. Maybe I was born because my mother needed me and loved me too. Have a nice day everyone!

It’s true—each of us is given the opportunity to discover our purpose, and often, that discovery comes through the challenges we face. Life isn’t always smooth, and adversity can sometimes make us question why we are here. But if we take a step back, we may realize that there is something we have always been naturally good at, something that has remained constant despite life’s hardships.
That one thing—whether it’s a talent, a skill, or a personal strength—can serve as a guiding light. It’s a reminder that even in difficult times, we have something valuable to offer. This ability or passion may not always seem grand or extraordinary, but it has significance because it persists. It is a clue to our purpose, a sign that we are meant to use it in some way to contribute to the world around us.
Perhaps it’s the ability to inspire others, to solve problems, to create, to care, or to endure with grace. Whatever it is, if it has remained with us through the trials of life, it holds meaning. It suggests that no matter what we go through, we are meant to use that gift—not just for ourselves but also for the people we encounter. And maybe, just maybe, our purpose is not just about finding success or happiness for ourselves but about making a difference, however small, in the lives of others.
So, when life feels uncertain, looking at what we’ve always been naturally drawn to or skilled at can help us see that we do, in fact, have a reason for being here. And that realization alone is already a powerful step toward living with meaning.
