Ice apples trees are huge, as huge as the fish palm trees The trees are known Asian Palmyra Palm. The ice apples are encased as is seen in the photo. They need to be harvested at the right time as over grown ice apples are not tasty. Ice apples are soft and melt in the mouth. They are ideal in summer as they quench one's thirst. I get them here occasionally
