So, Friend brought down an Amazon Echo Show when he was down here last, as he bought a new one with more features. I like it it is pretty versatile, but anyway this morning I asked it to play tunes from Les Mis, which it did, and then it segwayed into Memories from Cats I like a lot of Broadway show tunes. Memories might be my favorite..although Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera is also a favorite..Bali Hai, and Mama Look Sharp are also great

I don’t know a lot of Broadway show tunes, but I happened to hear part of the cast album of Matilda, and I absolutely loved it. Not exactly Phantom of the Opera, but it made me want to see the actual show.

I don't know any songs from that. You probably know the songs from The Lion King. They are part of the culture.

@snowy22315 The original Lion King is one of my favorite movies. I have never seen it as a play.

It's really pretty. I started singing it in the shower, and was afraid it would be stuck in my head. Try to Remember this Day in September? From the Fantasticks is another good one. I am almost positive that Jerry Orbach from Law and Order Sang that on Broadway.

I love Les Mes the original London cast version and phantom. I also love the music from Aspect of Love "Love changes everything". I am also a fan of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, London version because I saw it first in London with Jason Donovan as Joseph and it is the best version I have ever seen.

Does Beauty and the Beast count? Maybe that's only a fairytale. I'm not sure.

Not a big Broadway fan. Do songs from The Sound of Music count? I like many of them.

I like a lot of the old musicals -- Flower Drum Song, Bye Bye Birdie, South Pacific, Oklahoma, King & I, etc. Have a great day.
