About 2 months ago we had below zero temperatures and a lot of wind and this dog showed up in our yard. We let it in the house and our dog Lily got along. Since it was so cold and we didn't know whose dog it was or if some one just dropped it off, we kept her and fed and watered her. I made a post on FaceBook to see if one of my friend's might know who it belonged it. We kept her in the house and she was with us for a couple of days until one day, after it was warmer it went outside and we never saw her until about a week later. By this time, we thought some one must have just dropped it off, but we were still trying to figure out if anybody had this type of dog. We did get in touch with some one and they had this kind of dog, but it wasn't theirs, but they would do some checking around to find out whose it was. In the meantime, the rightful owner called and asked if we had his dog and we said we did. So, we found out who the owner of the dog was and she was returned. So, if the dog ever showed up again we would know who it belonged to. Fast forward almost two months, since we let her in our house in the cold (even though she has never been an inside dog) she comes and visits about once a week, sometimes two times in a week. Now when she crosses the main highway, to come see our dog, Lily after they play, we load Luna (our visitor) up in a vehicle and take her to her home and chain her up. She was on the doorstep when I went to work this morning. Before I left for work I didn't have enough time to take her home, but when I got done with work, she met me at our mailbox when I stopped there after work. So, I loaded her up in my PathFinder and took her home. She kept playing around whenever I was trying to get her out. She'd go to another door or she would go in back of the vehicle. Then suddenly she sat down, then got up and walked up to the porch and I went and chained her up!!!

I have heard of dogs who have two families. Interesting story.

Well, isn't that nice that she comes to visit and show you she's ok.
