Today's shopping trip to the little Tesco. (11/3/2025)

I went to the little Tesco again today, but I didn't have chance to post about it earlier because a friend on Facebook messenger wanted to know all about my vegan diet and what sort of things I eat, so I was filling her in on that. My Mum had to go to the doctors again this morning, so she left me her shopping list, club card, a money off voucher for the TV magazines and £30 on the coffee table for me to pick up when I went out to the shop. Before I went out the man who cuts our lawns came and so I had to pay him and I left a note on Mum's chair saying she owed me £15 for the lawns! When I went out there was a removals van at a house up the road and it was jutting out onto the path, so I had to walk into the road to get round it. I don't know if they were moving in or moving out. When I got to the shop I got the TV magazines as usual, then I got my Mum and Syd some custard tart things from the freshly baked section instead of the chocolate croissants for a change. I got Syd a snickers bar, then I got my Mum some malted milk biscuits. After that I got some bananas and some strawberries. I treated myself to another little notebook. They are very useful. Then I went and got 2 bottles of milk. My Mum wanted some honey roast peanuts, so I got those just before I went to the till. And then, as I was about to go to the till, I saw these little stuffed toy things at the side, and they were holding little hearts that said "Best Mum" on them. There were some pink ones and some black and white ones. I decided to get a pink one to give to my Mum for Mother's Day. Then I did go to the till. I made sure I gave the lady the club card and TV magazine voucher before she'd finished scanning. It came to just over £21. After I'd paid I went home, back passed the removals van. When I got home my Mum still wasn't back from the doctors. I put Mum's change, shopping list, club card and TV magazine voucher on the coffee table and then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I watched Homes Under the Hammer again, and had my lunch, which was one of the bananas and a packet of meat free bites. My Mum didn't get back from the doctors till about 12:05pm. When she did get back she refunded me the money from the lawnmower man. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you have all had a nice day, (or are having one if your day isn't over yet!)
