Delicious rice kheer

This kheer is normally made during the festive season and that does not mean that it should not be made on other days. The best rice to use is Bhasmati rice It has its original flavour It is cooked in milk, adding sugar, cardamom powder and garnished with nuts. I am planning to make it tomorow . I have all the ingredients. I love it. We don't use long grains of basmati for it. My mom's field grows sonam basmati, one of the best from UP. And while threshing and taking our the grain, the broken grains are kept aside and sold as khuddi( called in that part). I bring that. It's broken basmati, it gives a nice aroma of basmati but is well mixed giving a rich texture. While long basmati is best for biryani and pulao, the broken khuddi is for kheer.
