I am currently on my break in the back room to take a break and I have to say I am not faring well health wise tonight. I have been experiencing sharp pains in my ribs throughout my shift. Should I be concerned? Should I contact my doctor? I have never experienced these sharp pains in my ribs before. They come and go. They are similar to the pleurisy chest pains I suffered from. but this time they are in my ribs. Also, when I touch my ribs, they feel very tender. I'm concerned and I'm in pain. I have been having sharp pains in my ribs all night on top of the usual chronic pain that I have every other day. This is too much. I can't focus. My chest doesn't hurt. I don't have trouble breathing. I just have these sharp pains that come and go in my ribs. Maybe I should visit the hospital in the morning.

Yes, I went earlier this morning and stayed there for an hour after only getting two hours of sleep. I am wide awake though and can't sleep after coming home. At least the pain is gone now.

It sort of sounds like you are having muscle spasms and they do feel wicked. I hope you can get checked out if they persist.

Thank you. It turned out to be pleurisy. My chest pains traveled down to my ribs. I don't have any rib pain today though.

I am back from the doctor's. It's due to pleurisy. My chest pain has moved down to my ribs. There are no problems with my ribs in terms of injuries.

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear that. In my case, it was pleurisy traveling down from my chest to my ribs. I don't have any back pain. I don't have pain in my ribs today. Just chronic pain. Thank you. I hope you are better too and that pain is gone.

It is better to be safe than to be sorry. Do go to see a doctor, dear friend.
