Is that a funnel cloud I see? Will there be snow on Mt. Diablo tonight?

Earlier today, I sat at my desk, and watched my redwood tree bend to the left (Northwest) by several degrees. I wondered if it was going to fall over.
I saw conical clouds descending from the grey and purple darkness that looked like funnel clouds trying to form.
We do not have tornadoes in Northern California. But we said the same thing in Central Montana until a tornado hit our small town about 20 years ago.
In the end (here in California) we had violent rain, but no tornadoes (that I know of). I do not know how to estimated wind speed, but it well above the 20 mph predicted by the weather service.
I thought we might have snow on Mt. Diablo tonight, but the weather service reports that it is still 46 F or so here at 450 or so feet I do not know whether the rain will be snow at 3,850 feet.
How is the weather where you are?

It's going to be 72 tomorrow. Then it will drop back into the 30s for a day. Typical March weather.

@TheHorse I have a feeling that it's going to be a hot summer here.

We had a couple of gloomy and rainy days but now the sun is shining. I read something strange that a tornado hit a Florida and I thought I only had to worry about hurricanes.
