Neighbors in Florida rescue a bobcat who had a plastic tube around his neck.

Thanks to the efforts of a concerned resident in Port St. Lucie Florida who used the power of social media to alert the authorities of a bobcat that had a plastic tubing around from the neck of the bobcat.
The concerned neighbors used the social media site to alert the authorities about the bobcat needing help about two weeks ago.
Jay Gerrish who goes by the nickname Trapper Jay got the message to assist the bobcat who needed help, Jay placed a trap in the area where the bobcat could be captured so that Jay would get assistance from members of the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center worked with Jay to put the bobcat to sleep after the animal was caught in the backyard of a resident on Sunday night when Jay received a message on his computer.
The bobcat had the plastic tube removed by Jay and his colleague and after the bobcat after being found to be in good health and Jay released the bobcat into the wild on Monday night.

Poor bobcat. Glad he let himself be rescued as I am sure he was pissed at humans that this could happen to him,

That is true that the bobcat was angry at humans while he had the plastic tube on his neck.

Dumped rubbish like that is a continual hazard for all of the poor wild animals, trying to live their lives as normally as they still can, in this human engendered environment.
