Yeah she did.
I insist.
I know I am stressed but I also wrote it down and I am meticulous with that at least.
I know I had a 9AM appointment with her yesterday and I walked there to attend.
But no when I got there, the receptionist said she had someone else in her office.
Then the receptionist told me she had an opening at 11AM..I said no..and walked back home..too tired for that.
My therapist is in her late 70s and was born in the Soviet Union.
Maybe she is stressed too.

Anything is possible... I've had two doctor appointments lately that they send me "reminders" for before I went but when I got there they tried to tell me I was late until I pulled my phone out and showed them the reminders they'd sent me. They apologized but couldn't see me at the scheduled time. Apparently, they'd overbooked and everybody showed up. That is so annoying!

@franxav Yes, that's true. It's also true that I can find a new doctor if it happens too often.

That certainly is frustrating but I can certainly understand you not wanting to walk back there again at 11am.

My cardiologist's office has done that for about three times, so far. I called to get a correction because my card is for a day and date that does not exist. Of course I get a voice mail and no one has returned my calls. My primary says I do not have to see him if I do not want to.

That happened to us with a meeting appointment we were supposed to have with my son's potential orthodontist. Hubby even took the day off for it. When we got there, they said we were not scheduled - not showing up in their system. Well I had proof . . . 3 months before when I made the appointment, the receptionist wrote it down on a schedule card - I showed them that. They apologized and said they would take us in this time only because I had that card

It must have upset you no doubt but as you have pointed out the Therapist is old and things like this can happen.

That is frustrating. They are probably overbooked.
Will you see her again?

Oh no, I know that was frustrating, but at least on the bright side you got some exercise and walking is a good stress reliever.
