Holi Is Over This Year

Today is Holi. We celebrated the festival spraying colors on each other and smearing each others' face,with colors. It all began at 7 a.m. and lasted at 2 p.m. Bhang is a traditional; mild; intoxicating drink in our country. It is taken particularly on Holi. I never drink it. Some of my friends drank it and they are still fast asleep. Tonight I have invited all my friends on dinner. They will turn up by 9 p.m. But I'm sure; those who are sleeping now will not be able to join us. So Holi is over in my town. However there was a time when Holi was celebrated here for five days. Those days are gone never to return.
