I have been enjoying peanut candy for some time now. I recently ordered for yet another lot and this time each piece is 30 grams The earlier lot was 15 grams. What I notice is this lot is a bit different from the earliet lot in that it is hard.
It is possible the jaggery syrup is overcooked and that could be the reason for the hardness. Also they may have used sugar instead of jaggery which is not acceptable to me.
I do not know how to find out and the suppliers will not tell me know.

15 gm s is available but I I placed the order for the 30 gms without knowing it would taste like this

@allknowing I see. That's unfortunate. At least you learned that it's not just the grams but also the taste that can be different. Better stick to it next time. Hehe.

They have different weights if I may call them so. 15gms, 30 gms and so on The 15gms was perfect. I now have the 30 gms and they are hard as rock
