Population drop in American Birds Alarming

Reports of a significant drop in the population of birds in the US should send a warning to the concerned conservationists. Climate change, global warming and human activities are considered major causes. I am not sure if the LA California fires could have also contribution in the drop. I hope there are concerned wildlife enthusiasts in the US who could urge the government to consider controlling the worrying trend. In Kenya, we only fight birds when they invade our wheat and corn farms.
