Is it strange that dentist's office is not opened at least 15 minutes earlier?

It is a private dentist but the meeting was at 10o'clock and after ringing and knocking, i had to call cause, i really believed he or she (every time is someone else) forgot to come.
I called a wife from the chief dentist; she's maybe a secretary too and told me she thinks i'm the first person of the day and she asked (even though she wrote down a week ago) when it was my meeting. just when i stepped outside, i saw a young female dentist and realised that was my dentist. But still, i was 15 minutes earlier cause i only use a public transportation and you're either late or early while using it. I'm glad i was early but barely surviving the whole week with my damaged filling and only eating on my right side, i thought the worst.
The good side is my filling is ok now; bill will be sent by email just, not sure when. i spent 40 minutes with my mouth opened and i am so glad it was a little bit damaged filling. if it was more, i think i would be on that chair a very long time.
I'm also happy i can eat on my left side now yet, i'm really careful.

Glad your tooth is ok. Not sure about how dentists open and close in your country other than to guess that they do not open until the first daily appointment. I don't think it's wrong, as they must set up and organize before admitting patients.

@grenery8 Well, they open very early, and I always ask for a later appointment when scheduling. So, even if I am early, I can check in with the receptionist and sit until it's my turn (time).
They used to have a girl that would try and reschedule your appointment the day before or even that day which really irritated me. You planned for that time and day, so very upsetting and I complained about it. My next cleaning 6 months later she was not there. Guess she was doing this to others too and she was let go. Thank goodness for that! Now, everything is great there very nice staff and dentists.

@dgobucks226 that's good to have a reception. this clinic is inside apartment, in residential building; there is barely 2 chairs to sit in a hall so, yes, their receptionist is more online and by phone
this would upset me too; i'm glad she was fired. staff is important, as well as a good dentist.

When I had a filling many moons ago, I thought I spent more than 40 minutes in the dentist. The pretty dentist is my cousin's wife.
