Wondering Where they went

Went to Walmart today. And my new shelves were delivered while I was away. Tom had them put together before I got home. Will get them placed and filled tomorrow. I was wore out when I got home and still had to cook supper. We had BLTs. I very rarely buy a $30 ticket, but the machine said 1 ticket left. I bought it. Lots of times the first ticket or last ticket of a book are winners. But..it was NOT the last ticket of the book. 2 tickets were missing. A book goes from 000 to 029, My ticket was 27. So 28&29 were missing. I am thinking the person who loads that machine may have taken the last 2 tickets and then loaded the rest. Not saying they did, but it the machine is now out of tickets, and my ticket was only #27..what happened to 28&29? Kind of ticked me off as I would NEVER have bought that ticket if it hadn't said 1 ticket left. Anyway, earlier I had bought $15 of a Crossword Ticket, and noticed there was only one left in the bin (not a machine) so I went on and bought that last ticket. I won $100 on that last ticket. So you see, later when I saw that there was only 1 ticket left at the maching at the other place, I just had to buy it. So I still came out ahead of the game, even losing $30

I’ve never played any kind of lottery or anything, but congratulations on the win!

Tickets are cards that you scratch off latex covered areas to match #s or play games and win money.

@Ghostlady Oh, like a lottery ticket? I see people buying those at the liquor store.

I don't play games of pure chance. I see them as a poor tax. But I do play a bit of video poker when I pass through Reno.
