Tesla is not having a great time this year in Australia. After initial stellar sales and being one of the most popular car here, overall EV sales took a little beating. BYD was already carving a great market space for itself too. And after Trumps tariffs, the peaceful Aussies want to boycott or cut down american imports. Tesla does not seem to be the hot favorite anymore. I wonder where it's headed

Well, it's not a fan favorite in the U.S. either because it's a safety hazard. Or is starting to become one.

@pitstop They are promoted as such, but it's recently come out their batteries are.... dangerous to put it mildly.

After musk started butting into our government business, even if it was at trump's urging, sales for Tesla here took a distinct downturn. There are also boycotts and demonstrations against Tesla. They've also fallen into disfavor in Europe and Canada. Poor musk lost a fortune since trump took office.

@pitstop I hope he goes flat broke. He needs to get away from our government and stop playing like he knows what he's doing. If we wanted him to interfere, we would have voted him into office.
