Barcodes win the Carabao Cup

Newcastle have won the Carabao Cup. They beat Liverpool 2-1 in the final, and it is their first domestic cup in 70 years. It was quite a surprise as Liverpool are currently the best team in England, as they top the league by some distance. Newcastle are sometimes nicknamed the Magpies. They are also known as the barcodes, as their black and white striped shirts look like a barcode on a product. I wonder why they aren’t called the zebras?!
