Last year I had to buy turmeric rhizomes for planting as our own rhizomes were misplaced by the gardener never to be found. Every single rhizome came to life and after a nine month period they were ready to be dug out. We got a small quantity this time We produced powder following the normal procedure This time I have remembered to keep some rhizomes for replanting. I am waiting for them to sprout in storage and then I will palt them
