Good morning my friends!!! I am freezing! I didn't expect the temps to go down after all the rain but I guess I should have. It was so nice yesterday though. I had the fan in the window and on low because of it and now I'm paying for it. I'm also now paying for putting the extra blankets away because I could really use one now. The weekend was pretty good. I didn't go to training because I got caught up in making stuff. I was doing orders while also having a little fun. The storm rolled in though as planned. It rolled in Saturday afternoon and stuck around until Sunday morning. We were lucky though. I was expecting a lot more damage but it turned out to be minimal. Chris said she didn't get much down in Liberty, Smithville itself got hit pretty decent but not the tornado they were predicting and we got a downpour of rain and wind. For once we didn't lose power. That was a plus. I got the shop organized a bit more so I could find things. I saw the extra table we have for the first time in a while. I'm pretty sure it'll be covered again soon, the question is just with what lol. I have to work today over Chris's. We switched my days off because she's going back to Illinois with her husband this week to get his daughter. He has a court date to get custody of her and as far as we can tell, it's uncontested so the court date is just a formality. She's going on 14 years old I believe and I think her mother knows that she can't win if she does go against him. There's also a ton of dishes to put away today. We used a lot for dinner last night so we spent a lot of time washing lol. I've been posting things to sell too. I'm trying so hard to clean out my house. I'll be putting more books up on Mercari today. That app is getting on my nerves though because they keep changing the fees. There were fees for selling when they first started then they went to no fees and now they're back and slightly higher than the first time. I wish they would stop. So I took everything down yesterday to put things back up correctly starting today. I can't wait to read more of Onyx Storm. I now it's going to rip my heart out at the end but the journey to get there is so good! The avoidance that I was trying...failed. I'm loving it so much, just like I couldn't put down Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. It's hard to keep my Fourth Wing line in the shop because I want to keep it all lol. My husband decided it was bedtime last night but I was no where near ready so I made the mistake of getting out my kindle. He bought it for me specifically so I could read when he wanted to go to bed. Well the problem is...I stayed up and finished a little novella lol. Carrie Ann Ryan sent out an ARC of a small novella series she's working on and I hadn't had the chance to even start it yet. Well last night I started and finished it lol. Great thing about novellas is they're never long. Now I have to do reviews on it as it's release date is today :) great timing. I have two orders of rabbits coming in. I'm super excited to work on them. I have an order of one rabbit already and an order of 17. This should be fun. I also got an order of multiple things that I need to get done. The good news on that is I only have one sippy cup left to do and she'll be done. I'm still pushing Saint Patrick's Day but I also have Easter as well. I've been pushing both together. Oh yeah, I guess that's a good thing with it being Saint Patrick's Day today lol. Totally forgot. Oh well, time to get to work and get some things finished up. What are y'all up to?
