Spring break

Today, Monday, March 24 there was a tiny bit of frost on the windshield of the van, just at the bottom. We reached a high of 72 and it will go up a couple of days.

@GardenGerty Wow! Our low last night was 47F so no frost here. But we only reached a high of 66F today and are supposed to reach 72F tomorrow. We were still dealing with 14 mph winds today, too. I have to be in Springfield tomorrow afternoon for the specialist eye appointment arranged by SSDI. They want an independent specialist to test my vision and see if it's as bad as the specialist I've been seeing says it is. In April, I have an appointment with a different endocrinologist in Pierce City (a little tiny town to the West of us) to check my thyroid functioning, too. Then they say they'll make a new determination on SSDI for me. My eyes have been swollen mostly closed for the last week. I've been able to see myLot by pressing my face up against my laptop screen. We were hoping that would keep happening until after my appointment tomorrow but, wouldn't you know it, the swelling has gone down today and I can see fine.

Yes. It was in a wristlet bag that I put on the wheel chair because I often do not have pockets.I put that bag in my purse to go home. I had taken it out to clock out, got an error message because I went overtime to have my annual evaluation. I zipped up the bag and put it on top of a counter. My lead teacher tried to call me about the bag and realized that the phone was in it. She e mailed me exactly where it was. I did not read that e mail until after 8 pm on a Friday night.

No problem at all. My badge/key worked even though it was Spring Break. I was glad to catch up with Jane, she and her husband are now sick again with flu like symptoms.
